    Research presentation & Declamation competition

    Pragyata Foundation organized a seminar titled "Multidisciplinary approaches in studies of Medicinal Plants for tackling pollution for Urban population" in Mahipalpur, South West Delhi District on March 26, 2023. The event attracted a diverse audience, including residents from affluent neighborhoods in South Delhi and South West Delhi, and was graced by eminent dignitaries from government ministries, professors, Ayurvedic doctors, environmentalists, ICL India experts, MOEFCC social activists, RWAs, school and college students, and NGOs. Dr. Jeetendra Kumar Vaishya, Dr. Yogita Munjal, and Dr. Pradeep Aggarwal, esteemed guests, delivered informative speeches on the topic.

    The event featured research presentations and declamation competitions for school and college students, where winners were recognized and awarded certificates and prizes for their remarkable efforts in advancing medicinal plant studies and combating pollution.

    Proud moment for all of us!

    One of our volunteers Ms. Aannya Iyer of class 12th was awarded with the Silver Medallion for our project on menustrual hygiene in a campaign conducted by the ‘Premerica Emerging Visionaries',2023 organized in India by Pramerica Life Insurance.

    They received 1300 + applications from students of classes 8th-12th who plan to solve societal and financial challenges in their communities through volunteer services. Students from over 200 schools across the country were competing for this award. Congratulations to Aanya for this victory as it also endorses the School Community Transformation Programme which gives students opportunities to participate in social sensitisation programmes

    Fashion Showdown: Unleashing Creative Competition

    Pragyata Foundation organized a fashion show at the Sewing Centre in Nathupur village, Gurugram and the theme was “embrace equity”. The event showcased the incredible talent of the students who had designed and created the stunning dresses themselves.The decorations and preparations were all done by the talented ladies of the Sewing Centre, highlighting their skills and creativity.The theme of self-love was truly brought to life through the showcase of the beautiful dresses, and the best dresses were awarded to inspire and motivate the students. The refreshments provided for all the ladies added a touch of indulgence to the celebration. The Director of JUPEX Foundation was the chief guest of this event and eatables were also sponsored by JUPEX Foundation.

    The winners were awarded with the gifts to encourage them.Overall, the Women's Day celebration with a fashion show and refreshments was a huge success, showcasing the incredible talent and strength of women in Nathupur village.

    Certificates distribution to the winners

    "Certificate Distribution Ceremony for Dance Students by Pragyata Foundation at Unique Move Dance Hall"

    Pragyata Foundation recently distributed certificates to the winner students at the Unique Move Dance Hall. We were thrilled to recognize and appreciate the hard work and dedication of the students who have put in their time and effort to learn and excel in dance. The certificate distribution ceremony was a proud moment for both the students and the foundation. It was a great opportunity for us to celebrate the achievements of the students and encourage them to continue pursuing their passion for dance.

    "Run For a Cause" Competition

    On the occasion of International Women's Day, a run for the cause of "gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow" was organized by Pragyata Foundation, Inner Wheel Club - Vasant View, and Rotary International - RC Delhi West at Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj on March 6, 2022, starting from 7 AM. The event received an overwhelming response, with hundreds of enthusiasts showing up to participate in the run. Participants were provided with caps, T-Shirts, refreshments, and participation certificates. The event commenced with a Ganesh Vandana, followed by dance performances, a skit, Zumba dance, a health talk, and mesmerizing music. The 5-kilometer run was inaugurated at Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj by esteemed guests including Ms. Preeti Gugnani, International Director (Designate) of International Innerwheel; Mr. Ashok Kantoor, District Governor (Designate) of Rotary International; Mr. Jitender Kumar Vaish, NMPB, Ayush Ministry; Ms. Sonalika Jiwani, IAS, DM South Delhi; and Ms. Amrita Dhawan, President of DPMC.The initiative received sponsorship from Ambience Mall, JUPEX Foundation, Omega Productions, Combat Lab, Nari Shakti, Aim Pure Milk, Fortis Hospital-Vasant Kunj, D'Whisk Studio, and A to Z Group of Companies.

    Upon returning to the mall, the participants were welcomed with a lively and joyful atmosphere. The winners of the run were awarded certificates and trophies in recognition of their enthusiasm and achievements.

    Drawing and Craft competition

    Pragyata Foundation and Santushti Apartments, D-6, Vasant Kunj organised an event titled “Say No To Single Use Plastic”on the theme of plastic waste and segregation, in collaboration with SSIL & ITC WOW, at Santushti Apartments, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. Honourable MP Ramesh Bidhuri Ji was the chief guest for the event and DC SDMC Dr. Sonal Swaroop, Neta Sadan/ Chairman DEMS Sh. Inderjeet Sehrawat ji, Pradesh Adhyaksh Mehrauli Sh. Jagmohan Mehlawat ji were also present at the occassion. A drawing and craft competition was conducted for children. All the participants pledged to follow the 3Rs (Recycle, Reuse and Reduce) strictly in their lives. This was a one week program in which ladies and children collected single use plastic at their homes and brought it along with them. To showcase their understanding and awareness children from D-6 and Masoodpur village handed over a tipper full of single use plastic collected by them over a week and created innovative products by single use plastic - handed over as gifts/souvenir to the Honourable guests. SSIL collected and took this plastic to ‘Waste to Energy plant' at Jasola where electricity can be produced using this waste plastic. Children also made handicrafts with waste plastic materials. A lot of ideas were shared on how we can reduce our usage of single use plastic. All the participants & winners were awarded with prizes and certificates.

    Drawing competition winners

     

    Pragyata Foundation actively participated in the Republic Day Celebrations at Fish Park, Mehrauli. The event witnessed the hoisting of a majestic 51 feet tall National Flag by MP Shri Ramesh Bidhuri, the esteemed Chief Guest, along with the presence of Shri Jagmohan Mehlawat, BJP Adhyaksh Mehrauli district. To engage the young minds, a drawing and painting competition for kids was organized, allowing them to showcase their artistic talents. Pragyata Foundation proudly awarded the winners and participants of the competition, encouraging their creative spirit and patriotism. The event served as a vibrant platform for fostering national pride and unity within the community.

Through our project Lakshya, we organized competitive events that provided students with the opportunity to showcase their abilities in various subjects, and their performances were nothing short of spectacular. Our goal is to not only educate these students but also further enhance their skills, ensuring they have equal opportunities in life. Let us collectively nurture these young minds so that they can have the same opportunities and enjoy the quality of life that each of us cherishes.     Felicitation of Summer camp 2019 winners

    FELICITATION OF SUMMER CAMP 2019 WINNERS

    Summer Camp 2019 culminated with a lot of learning, fun and frolic throughout the course of the month of June.

    The concluding day of the summer camp culminated with an ice-cream party for the kids. The winners of the various competitions organised during the summer camp were felicitated with gifts.

    This year the camp encompassed English, Computer (IT) and Astronomy classes along with those on learning shortcuts in maths. Sessions on yoga, excercises, manners & etiquettes were conducted. Activities such as those related to teamwork, literature, story telling, creative writing, art & craft, origami, debating & oratory, drama and group discussions were organised.

    Besides the educational, yet fun aspect of the summer camp, there were plenty of quizes and competitions, movie show days, music and dance, fun games, meals and snacks distributions and other recreational activities.

    Cessum MUN 2018 at IIC

    Pragyata Foundation hosted Cessum Model United Nations Conference on 6th and 7th July at India International Center, Lodhi Road. The conference was attended by students from distinguished schools and colleges all over Delhi NCR along with participation from Ivy League colleges and universities from around the globe.
    The conference fostered the theme "women empowerment", and was hosted to promote a range of social issue through the seven committees simulated. Attendees debated on several topics with one of the focal points being discussing the progressing rights of women in a digital age. The unconventional debates led to a intellectually engaging experience for the attendees. 
    Participants were also joined by the Honourable MR. VINOD K. DUGGAL, EX-GOVERNOR OF MANIPUR AND MIZORAM and MR. DIBANG, NEWS ANCHOR AT ABP NEWS AND HOST OF THE DAILY PRIME TIME SHOW. They actively interacted with the students and delivered their wisdom to the young audience. 
    The students were curious and willing to learn. Their knowledge of their topics were good leading to lively debates. 
    The outstanding delegates, executive board, international press and members of the secretariat were awarded in the closing ceremony by our honourable chief guests. The Best Delegation award was bagged by Ryan International School, Vasant Kunj.

    Best out of Waste & Art competition Winners

    On the occasion of the Earth Day, Pragyata Foundation conducted competitions for children to raise awareness and to demonstrate support for environmental protection. 
    A Best out of Waste competition was held in which children made useful and beneficial things purely out of material that is considered as waste. 
    An Art competition was also organised in which children made posters and wrote powerful slogans and some simple, yet, effective ways of saving our planet. 
    The winners of these competitions were congratulated and awarded with gifts. Such activities would go a long way in creating motivation among children to take action and steps towards saving our environment.

    Pragyata Foundation celebrated the annual Republic Day with great zeal and enthusiasm amid students of Govt. Girls Primary School. This day is not special only because of its historical significance, but also because it reminds us of the core values like unity, brotherhood, peace, prosperity, and development of all. Keeping this in mind, we organised the function for students and others to grasp such values via different mediums such as inspirational speeches, influential music etc. The winners of Dooling- Logo designing and Stylos - Handwriting competitions were felicitated for their constant efforts and great performances. We are proud citizens of India and will always strive to keep the spirit alive! Jai Hind!

    Overtime, students visit us to learn and equip skills to do well in life, which we asses through competitions that students take part in. Pragyata Foundation awarded exemplary performance by little souls in these mind-challenging contests. Simultaneously, the event encompassed performances to energise and inspire the attendees by musicians like Mr. Suraj Verma. People from different walks of life also addressed the students with their experiences and advice. We're happy to travel along a path which let's us enlighten the youth, the generation of tomorrow.     PRAGYATA CONDUCTS COMPETITIONS AT IDA CONVENT SCHOOL, LUCKNOW

    Pragyata reaches the suburbs of the city of nawabs, Lucknow.

    Rolling down the streets of UP, we headed with our motive to provide quality education and initiate the sense of competitiveness amongst the youth which enthusiastically seeks for opportunities often across their journey to the reality

    of our challenging world. The competitions ranged from Kleuren to Stylos and many other interesting activities.
