DISTRIBUTION OF SEVERAL MEDICINAL PLANTS
Pragyata Foundation's campaign on 'Multidisciplinary Approaches in the Study of Medicinal Plants for Tackling Pollution for Urban Population' has made significant strides in raising awareness among residents of South West and South Delhi districts about the benefits of medicinal plants. As a part of this initiative, the foundation distributed several medicinal plants such as Kari Patta, Ajwayen, Ashwagandha, Elaichi, Insulin, Pattachur, Lemon grass, Nirgundi, Adusa, etc., among the residents. The main objective of this initiative was to encourage residents to grow and care for medicinal plants in their homes and gardens, which not only helps in improving the air quality but also promotes healthy living. The residents were provided with instructions on how to plant and care for these medicinal plants, and volunteers from Pragyata Foundation demonstrated the process. The distribution of medicinal plants was well-received by the residents, and they showed keen interest in learning more about the plants and their uses. The foundation's volunteers also explained the significance of each plant and how they can be used to treat various ailments. The campaign has not only helped in creating awareness about the importance of medicinal plants but also encouraged residents to take an active interest in growing them. By growing these plants, residents can take a small but significant step towards reducing pollution levels and promoting a healthier environment. In conclusion, Pragyata Foundation's initiative to distribute medicinal plants among residents of South West and South Delhi districts has been a success. It has not only helped in raising awareness about the importance of these plants but has also encouraged residents to take an active interest in growing them.
