EARTH DAY 2019 ??

“Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught, will we realise that we cannot eat money?”
We don’t own our planet earth. We are mere stewards and protectors of the environment and thus, it is on each one of us to ensure that it remains healthy and beautiful for future generations. 
On the occasion of the Earth Day, Pragyata Foundation conducted activities for children to raise awareness and to demonstrate support for environmental protection. 
A Best out of Waste competition was held in which children made useful and beneficial things purely out of material that is considered as waste. 
An Art competition was also organised in which children made posters and wrote powerful slogans and some simple, yet, effective ways of saving our planet. 
The winners of these competitions were congratulated and awarded with gifts. Such activities would go a long way in creating motivation among children to take action and steps towards saving our environment.
