ESSENTIAL TIPS FOR A SAFE DIWALI
Diwali, the festival of lights, joy and celebrations is around the corner. Enjoying the festivities with family and friends is something everyone enjoys. Nevertheless, safe celebration is a must.
In line with this, a session on the precautions to be taken during the festival of Diwali was conducted by Pragyata Foundation during which essential tips to ensure a safe Diwali were given. The children were told about the kind of clothing recommended (cotton) when in close proximity to fire, importance of minimal bursting of crackers, always having a bucket of sand or water nearby, discarding firecrackers carefully, lighting diyas and candles away from curtains or any inflammable materials, and the necessity to celebrate this beautiful festival with utmost sensitivity and care.
We wish that may this festival of lights fill your life with the glow of happiness and the sparkle of joy. Have a happy and safe Diwali!
