INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
Pragyata Foundation celebrated Independence Day with great fervour at our Rangpuri centre in New Delhi, and Shaheed Bhagat Singh Vidyalaya in Nagwa Block, Sonbhadhra, UP. This school is being run in the community centre of the region for the tribal kids in that area. The day was celebrated with a range of activities for the kids and the customary flag hoisting ceremony. The children danced and sung to patriotic songs. A drawing competition and a musical chairs activity was also conducted. The winners of the competition were awarded with prizes. Sweets and snacks were distributed to the children. The children were educated about the importance of the occasion, and enjoyed the celebrations.

We are grateful to collaborate with Mr. Omar Hafiz a well known Development Practitioner and a leader in training youth on development front for various life skills required to live a prosperous life. To this end, a workshop series was conducted across Kashmir Valley in different schools. This workshop series aimed at capacity building and conflict management.
