11TH OCTOBER, 2019
INTERNATIONAL GIRL CHILD DAY
The International Day of the Girl Child was celebrated with our amazing women and children at Pragyata Foundation on 11th October to appreciate women and the significant role that they play in our society. A colourful celebration was organised to mark the special occasion with these lovely ladies and kids.
An awareness session was conducted by Ms. Nidhi Kansal for women in Nathupur village, Gurugram in which they were told about the importance of educating girls and the role they play in our society. A lot of women were surprised when told about the various achievements of women in various aspects be in sports, science and technology, creative arts etc. They were encouraged to work to towards reducing the gender gap that exists in today's time.
After all, if we aim to become a developed nation, the issue of girl child and women empowerment cannot be ignored.
We specially thanks Ms. Nidhi Kansal for her contribution towards organising the event.
Every little contribution counts. Support our programs by sponsor education for underprivileged. We invite you to join hands and help us in achieving our kids’ dreams. Looking forward to collectively making a positive difference in the lives of the underprivileged through education.
