Pragyata Foundation Distributes Sanitary Pads to Girls and Women in Kapashera Village
Pragyata Foundation recently distributed sanitary pads to girls and women in Kapashera village, New Delhi. The event was attended by over 100 women and girls, who were also educated about the importance of menstrual hygiene.
The cost of a single sanitary pad can range from Rs. 3 to Rs. 8, which can be a significant financial burden for many families. By providing sanitary pads to these women and girls, Pragyata Foundation is helping to ensure that they have access to the menstrual hygiene products they need.
The event also included a discussion about the importance of menstrual hygiene. The women and girls who attended learned about the different types of sanitary pads, how to use them properly, and how to dispose of them safely.
