INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY CELEBRATION

Celebrating International Women's Day with a Run for Gender Equality

On the joyous occasion of International Women's Day, Pragyata Foundation, in collaboration with Inner Wheel Club - Vasant View and Rotary International - RC Delhi West, organized a spirited run for the "cause of gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow." The event took place at Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj on 6th March 2022, starting from 7 AM onwards.

The event witnessed a remarkable turnout with hundreds of enthusiastic participants who came together to support the cause of gender equality. Each participant was provided with special caps, T-Shirts, refreshments, and participation certificates as a token of appreciation for their involvement.

The event commenced with a beautiful Ganesh Vandana, followed by captivating dance performances, an engaging skit, and an energetic Zumba session that infused the atmosphere with excitement and energy. Additionally, a thought-provoking health talk and soul-stirring music further added to the charm of the event.

The run served as a platform to raise awareness about gender equality, encouraging a more inclusive and sustainable future for all. It brought people from diverse backgrounds together, fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose. Participants were inspired to champion the cause of gender equality and work towards creating a society where every individual, regardless of their gender, enjoys equal rights and opportunities.
