WORKSHOP ON STORY WRITING
A workshop on the art of story writing was conducted by Ms. Preeti Mishra (Artist, Writer and Storyteller). She entertained the children with colorful stories ranging from those having moral lessons to fables and folktales. She shared the concept and techniques of story writing and story telling along with tips on how to add interesting elements in a story. The children too, using their vivid imagination and creativity, narrated stories, a lot of which were quite original. They were encouraged to get into the habit of reading books to give flight to their imagination and diversity to their vocabulary. Several other activities related to stories were conducted. The workshop culminated with dance and music.
