Introduction

English Champs is organised annually to assess and impart proficiency in English language and communication. The tests for each level, although take into consideration the syllabus for each school year, they are not directly related to them. The content of the tests is designed to focus on communication and use of English language, rather than rote learning and correct grammar only. We focus on the international usage of English rather than English which is old fashioned or out dated. We believe that English is a necessity in today’s world so we promote it among the students of all age groups.

Other Details

The exam is conducted in school during school hours. The Competition is a one level exam. As soon as the registrations are closed, the roll numbers for the students are sent to the respective schools. The test is a written test. The time limit for solving the paper is 60 minutes for each class. There are separate question papers for each class with their medium as English. Students from class 1 to class 10 are eligible for giving this exam. CBSE, ICSE/ICS and State Board Syllabus are followed for setting the paper. The paper would consist of objective type questions, fill up’s, crosswords, puzzles etc.

Winners will be informed via their schools. The certificates and prizes for the winners will be sent to their schools.
